Last night at our mixer we had the opportunity to hear a brief overview of an incredible non-profit in Nashville named Blood:Water Mission. As seen in this previous post, Blood:Water Mission is changing the world by creatively and thoughtfully raising awareness and the necessary funds for the provision of clean blood and clean water in sub-Saharan Africa.
To date, Blood:Water has partnered with more than 1,000 communities in Africa, providing life-saving water and health care for over 600,000 people in 13 different countries. As a grassroots organization, Blood:Water relies heavily on the thought that each person can make a difference through campaigns such as Lemon:Aid, Water Walks, and I Know Someone.
While there is no one-size-fits-all solution, Blood:Water is working through partners to address the gaps in HIV/AIDS and clean water programs, implementing effective and sustainable solutions including education, treatment and support.
Watch to see how you can make a difference!
